UPDATE - I have written a Review on this Ipevo Black (with LCD Display) - Skype Certified USB VOIP Internet IP Phone in late 2008.
This VOIP IP phone has worked well and by that I mean 90% of the time in over a year, on my 2009 Intel Core iMac/Leopard V 10.5.8, with just a few 'glitches', every now and then.
Sometimes, closing the App and an Application or System RESTART seems to 'fix' any glitch that I've encountered, just make sure that BOTH Skype & Ipevo are updated to latest versions, since
that includes any obvious previous problems.
! Important - Be sure to use 1 of the 3 USB Ports on your iMac, and NOT a USB Hub for this VOIP Phone.

- SOFTWARE - Skype Version - 2.8.0.851 & IPEVO Control Center (Updated from original version) - 1.0.1.29

- Try these IPEVO Control Center Settings on your iMac -

* Skype Audio Device > Output @ FR-33.2 and Input @ FR-33.2

* Mac OS Default Devices > Audio output @ Built-in OUTPUT & Audio input @ Built-in INPUT

It's a nice unit, except it does not have 64 bit drivers for Window 7. I got it to work with another driver (look for ICC_1.0.5.0.7_M.zip) except that the recorder function does not work well (it does not save the recording).

The product says that it works on Macs. I have an IMac and was able to download the driver and the phone worked for about 10 minutes. Then the LCD screen went blank and my Skype application on my computer no longer worked.

phone just stopped working after two months. I've been calling and emailing the customer service of IPEVO. They never replied back. their line is 'busy' and you can't reach any support. Don't buy any phone from this company

I bought this IP phone quite a while ago and I recommend it. I carry it with my laptop everywhere I go(have a Velcro attached to my computer that keeps it in place) so I have a non-microwave phone (cell phones) and using Skype IP service or any other service such as yahoo would make calling easy. the voice quality is very good. However, sometimes some of the features doesn't work which could be as a result of my computer not functioning correctly, I can not be sure. It is a light and attractive phone.
